Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a number of schools in the area to assist them with their appointment of staff within their Humanities departments. I have roles open to NQT's and experience teachers, people looking for a change or a step up (as Head of Department or 2iC) as well as part time opportunities. Roles could be specialising in one of or a combination of the following subject areas - History, Geography, RE, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Citizenship or Philosophy.

The positions will either be on a temporary to permanent or straight to permanent arrangement. You will be paid to scale (£24,373 to £41,635) with a TLR available if additional responsibilities are undertaken. With the range of positions both the Fringe and England and Wales pay scales are covered.

The successful Humanities Teacher/s will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE level at least (in either History, Geography, Religious Studies, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Citizenship or Philosophy) and ideally have a proven track record of successful exam results.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the curriculum.

To be successful in these Humanities Teaching roles you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
