Due to the growth in student numbers and the need to expand the number of teachers within the Maths curriculum area, this Lewisham-based academy are now seeking a Teacher of Maths to join them on a permanent basis from September 2021.

The school has a growing reputation in the local area as a caring place of education with high expectations of learning, behaviour and attendance.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivational Teacher of Maths who understands effective student learning through challenging, high quality and exciting teaching methods. They will possess the expertise to inspire and engage students, and will be determined to get the best from a diverse cohort of students, ensuring they make their very best progress.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a Teacher of Maths with excellent knowledge of the curriculum.
• Have QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained. You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
