Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Psychology for an outstanding college in the Wigan area. The position is to start in September, covering a maternity leave, expected to continue until 27/05/2022.

The college are looking to recruit a Teacher of Psychology to work on a part time basis (0.5) over 3 days. The working days for this position will be Monday, Thursday and Friday until October half term. After the October half term break, this position will become 0.4 FTE, 2 days per week.

The successful Teacher of Psychology will be joining an open and welcoming community which enables young people to flourish as adults, as they pursue lives that will serve to create a better world. The college aims to create a caring community which provides opportunities for service to others.

The college are open to receiving applications from ECTs, RQTs or experienced teachers of Psychology.

The college are looking for a Psychology Teacher who:

• Has experience of teaching Psychology to KS5 (Level 3 and A Level experience will be considered)
• Has excellent classroom management
• Is prepared to take full responsibility for planning, delivery and assessment
• Is able to inspire and motivate students through innovative teaching styles

* Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, 14+ PGCE)
* Have experience of teaching Psychology to KS5 (Level 3 and A Level)
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
