Tradewind are currently recruiting a hardworking and motivated primary teaching assistant for an excellent school in the heart of Greenwich. The role is a full-time 1 year contract and the pay scale will be dependent on experience between £70-£90 per day.

This Oversubscribed 1 form entry Primary School is a creative and inclusive learning community which values individuality and celebrates differences. In the heart of Greenwich, they're uniquely placed to make learning exciting, fun and relevant. The school has a unique rooftop Arts studio which is a fantastic place to learn and create.

The role will include duties such as working in small groups, whilst supporting the class teacher. Running small interventions for students to help with their learning journeys. We require someone that is flexible, adaptable and confident. This role could be in either key stage 1 or key stage 2, depending on the needs at the time in school.

Feedback from people that have previously worked in the school is that behaviour of the pupils, is exemplary. There is a warm feeling and strong identity of community whilst still being open and accepting of everyone as they have over 25 different nationalities in school.

This role is open to both experienced or recent graduates. A background knowledge of the curriculum is beneficial but not essential. You must have the legal right to work in the UK. A knowledge or experience of working with SEN would also be beneficial to the school.
