Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a friendly, fun and enthusiastic TA/LSA who has experience working with SEND pupils either as part of small groups or on a one to one basis. We are currently working with a large Trust of schools, who require SEN support for some of their most vulnerable children on a regular basis.

The successful SEN TA/SEN LSA will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP's. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher, and you will support pupils with their progress and attainment.

Experience supporting some of the following would be advantageous but not essential:
ADHD
Asperger Syndrome
Autism (ASD)
Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD, formerly EBD)
Challenging Behaviour
Dyslexia
Epilepsy
Global Development Delay (GDD)
Hearing Impairment (HI)
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)
Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD)
Speech and Language Disorder
Visual Impairment (VI)

The Trust are looking for:
Flexible people who can support their pupils with a range of needs.
A committed professional, who has previous experience working with children or young people. A lively and caring individual who will support groups of children and act as a 1:1 support when needed.

Cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
