Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated Sports Specialist Teaching Assistant/ Cover Supervisor to join an "Good" Secondary School, starting as soon as possible in Fleetwood. This is a full time, long term role. Helping to deliver PE throughout the Secondary School, coaching and delivery experience is required as well as Covering Supervisor work and Teaching Assistant Work.

As a Sports Specialist Teaching Assistant/ Cover Supervisor your job will be to support/ teach and deliver to pupils across KS3 and KS4 by working with small groups of pupils to enhance their learning and academic development. This position is supporting the class teacher with boys PE across KS3 and KS4. In this role you will be responsible for supervising the students in the boys changing room, making sure the PE Teacher has all the equipment needed for the lesson and supporting with setting up the lesson, and working with groups during each PE session.

Your role will involve supporting and teaching pupils within this "Good" Secondary School. Experience is essential and a patient and determined character is needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience both within delivering and supporting within PE ideally qualified to Level 3.

We are looking for:
Someone who has ideally, have experience delivering and supporting within PE and ideally qualified to Level 3. You must also have a passion for working with Secondary aged pupils and be dedicated to making a positive impact on their learning and development. As per Department for Education (DfE) guidelines you will need to be able to provide full identification copies and reference details from the relevant experience you have previously gained in this or a similar setting.

The Secondary School is based in Fleetwood easy accessible with public transport and additionally if you are driving has free car parking.
