**About the role**

This position is to work with a student either in EYFS or KS1. Both children need support with their speech and language so experience with PECs or MAKATON would be essential. The school require someone that is hard working and passionate to work with students that need additional care. The successful Teaching Assistant will be able to run specific interventions with the children to further support them - liaising closely with Speech and Language therapists to provide the very best care for the child. We are looking for a proactive, child-focused person who will be well-supported by the class teacher and SENCo but the successful candidate will use their own initiative also.

Salary = £70-85 per day

You must have previous school based experience of working with students with SEN. Its desirable you hold a Teaching Assistant qualification such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 but not essential.
