To start ASAP, this role has the potential to be a part time job share for the right applicant. This award winning independent secondary school prides itself on providing specialist support to students within a mainstream school structure.

If you are a creative and energetic Teaching Assistant looking to dramatically impact the lives of your students, this is the ideal role in which to do so. Classes are small to allow for individualised support with a maximum of 10 pupils in each class and even smaller class GCSE classes. The school is exceptional for promoting students' self-confidence and encouraging all pupils to achieve their full potential. Pupil behaviour is exemplary and high standards are achieved and maintained due to excellent, well organised leadership and management from the Senior Leadership Team.

This school takes a bespoke approach to education, and smaller class sizes mean that students receive the individual attention that they need to thrive and develop. There is a strong focus on all students achieving GCSE's and progressing towards further education. Student's with Specific Learning difficulties often struggle to excel in mainstream settings, but this specialist school truly sees students go from strength to strength and prepares them to succeed in adulthood. You will be supporting students not only to build a sound academic foundation for further education and employment, but you will be instilling values of excellence, determination and self-belief that prepare students to be upstanding members of the community.

Graduates from the school have gone on to found their own businesses, become successful CEO's, pursue post graduate studies and so much more. This school really proves that SEN statements such as Dyslexia and Dyspraxia do not have to be an obstacle to future success, and that with the right educational support, all students can thrive and achieve their dreams.
