Are you a highly ambitious and dedicated Teaching Assistant? Are you looking to join a highly supportive school in September 2021? Do you have experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant within a mainstream primary school? Do you have experience in KS2 with students diagnosed with ASD?

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a two-form entry primary school who is currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This two-forms of entry primary school is based in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and is rated 'Outstanding' through their recent Ofsted inspection. The Teaching Assistant role is a long-term opportunity and is due to start in September 2021 for a full academic year with the possibility of a permanent contract for September 2022. The annual salary for this position is £15,600 - £18,500

The school is based in the heart of Hammermisth and Fulham with exceptional transport links and parking available for all staff. The leadership team pride themselves for their links to the community and their exceptionally well-resourced school with ample space for extracurricular activities.

The Teaching Assistant role is to work with a highly intelligent pupil transitioning to Year 4 in September 2020. This pupil is diagnosed with ASD which impacts on this pupil's social communication and interactions, and his sensory integration.

To be shortlisted for this position, as a Learning Support Assistant you need to

  • Have proven track record working as a KS2 LSA within a primary school setting
  • Be confident in working independently with the student and integrate them into the social setting of the classroom
  • Be available full-time Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm
