Tradewind Recruitment is working with a good primary school based in Hounslow that are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in year 1.

The Headteacher of this good school based in Heston, Hounslow are looking to appoint an experienced key stage 1 Teaching Assistant to support in year 1. The role will consist of delivering small group intervention, general classroom support and phonic intervention. As a Teaching Assistant you will have sound knowledge of the key stage 1 curriculum, be have experience in delivering phonics intervention. The school are known to use Jolly Phonics as a their main programme however welcome candidates with experience in Read Write,Inc as well as Letters and Sound.

The role will involve

*General classroom support across year 1
*Work alongside the KS1 to plan and prepare engaging, fun sessions for small groups of learners that need additional support

The teaching assistant roles are full time, 5 days' a week and will be due to start in February 2019 to continue until July 2019.

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant - Hounslow
you must;

*Have previous experience working in a primary school setting.
*Be a team player - this role requires someone who works well with teachers, pupils and parents
*Demonstrate commitment, dedication and resilience in your previous childcare work
*have an ability to manage sometimes challenging behaviour
*Ideally you will be local to Hounslow
