Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a Nelson Primary School who are in need of a KS2 Teaching Assistant to start 5th June 2019. This is a part time role working five mornings per week, until July 2019 with a competitive pay. The school are looking for a strong Teaching Assistant with experience and knowledge of KS2 to join their supportive team. The Teaching assistant will be required to work with a Year 5/6 mixed class supporting the whole class, groups and individuals on 1:1 basis supporting mainly with core subjects. This role is available due a member of staff retiring. This position has the potential to go permanent for the right person.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
*Hold a Level 2 or L3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for a one form entry Primary School in Nelson. About the role
The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 5/6 class, the class has an experienced class teacher. The school are looking for somebody with a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and good behaviour management skills. Under the direction of the class teacher, you will be required to help the students to make progress within phonics, numeracy, reading and writing. You will also be required to take groups of students out of the class for booster sessions.
