Tradewind is working with a 'Good' Preston Primary School to support a range of pupils with complex and additional needs. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Level 2 or 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to undertake a full-time role with an immediate start. This position is to start immediately and will continue until July 2019.
This role is within a one-form entry community Primary School, this schools ambition is to build the confidence, resilience and drive that helps children grow into happy, successful, and passionate students. The school is passionate in providing a broad and balanced creative curriculum. The school is seeking a hardworking and motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team of committed and experienced professionals. The ideal candidate for this role has a Level 2 or 3 Qualification who has had a minimum of 12 months supporting pupils with SEN.
The successful candidate will be required to support the class teacher with planning for activities and lesson's and liaise with the SENDCO when appropriate. In addition, you will also be required to provide 1:1 and small group support for pupil with complex and additional needs. You must also have an enthusiastic and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.
The School is in Preston and is easily accessible via public transport and is close to motorway links.
