The Candidate:
The successful applicant for this full time Year 4 Teaching Assistant role will have experience working and supporting KS2 lessons and be able to commit to a long-term placement. Having excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum is essential. Experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable as there a few students with Autism so knowledge of assisting students with this additional need is important.

The Role:
*Supporting the Year 4 Class Teacher to ensure the Year 4 students make progress.
*Listening to students read.
*Working one on one or in small groups with students who need additional support.
*Helping the teacher plan for the lesson and preparing the classroom.
*Creating educational displays.
*Assisting with marking and tracking progress of students.
*Developing students' understanding of theories and concepts in the curriculum.

All applicants for this long term and full time Year 4 Teaching Assistant role must have experience within KS2 and be driven to supporting students of all abilities.

This Year 4 TA position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks. Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
