Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Stretford, Trafford to start in September 2020 until the Summer 2021. This is a full time, long-term role with a salary of £70 per day.

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant (SEN) on behalf on a caring, happy and friendly school in Stretford, Trafford. The school is based in Stretford, Trafford and is accessible via Metrolink car or bus.

About the role

This primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant (SEN) to support a child within Lower Key Stage 2. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and experience of working with children with an EHC Plan.

The role itself will involve supporting a child within lessons who requires extra support during lessons. The child is working below the National Average and requires support with progressing with English and Maths. The successful Teaching Assistant may also be required to work with the child outside of the classroom, delivering work set by the class teacher in the schools Nurture room.

* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
