Year 4 Teaching Assistant

Are you a motivated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in role in Urmston, Trafford?

Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a Primary School in Urmston, Trafford to start in February 2019.

The successful applicant will be working within a Year 4 class alongside the teacher to provide effective academic and behaviour support to individual pupils and small groups.

This two-form entry Community Primary school prides itself on offering a friendly and supportive learning environment to all pupils. They offer a broad and varied curriculum which is carefully planned and delivered. During their most recent 'Ofsted' inspection they were judged as 'Good with Outstanding features' and their pupils were noted as being enthusiastic, considerate and determined to succeed.

To be eligible to apply for this role you will need:
*Recent Experience in supporting pupils 1:1 and within a classroom
*KS2 Knowledge and experience in raising attainment and carrying out tailored interventions
*Experience and knowledge of SEN and behaviour strategies
*Experience in working with small groups
*A positive and creative approach to children's education
*The motivation required to deliver fun and activities in line with the national curriculum
