Are you Behavioural TA / Support Worker looking for a new opportunity in an Alternative Provision in the Wigan area?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a hardworking and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant/ Support Worker to work in the Wigan area. The role is as soon as possible long term with the possibility for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

This Alternative Provision is Ofsted rated 'Good' with 60 pupils on role. The school cater for pupils aged 5 - 11-year olds with a wide range of Trauma, Social and Emotional Needs. Is it easily accessible by public transport with a bus stop within walking distance to the school and if traveling by car they have free onsite parking available.

You will be working with small groups, 1:1 and supporting within class. The pupils have a range of needs such as trauma, SEMH and behaviour difficulties.

After visiting the school, I was really impressed with the state of the art facilities. This school also encourages and healthy and active approach to every day school life. The school has a welcoming team of staff and a strong and well-structured SLT.

The school supports with progression and you have accesses to all in house CPD. The school is well-equipped with whiteboards, ICT etc.

Essential requirements:
*Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Support Worker Qualification
*Degree Qualified (not essential)
*Experience working primary aged children
*Knowledge and understanding working with trauma, SEMH and Behaviour difficulties
*Legal right to work in the UK
