Tradewind are currently recruiting a hardworking and organised Teaching Assistant for a Catholic School in Wigan working within their Year 4 class. The role is for a level 3 Teaching Assistant to start May until Summer 2021 with the potential to go permanent.

We are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant on behalf of a one form entry Catholic Primary School. The school has a caring community firmly founded on Catholic values. The staff all work together to provide a caring, family ethos in which their learners will be loved and nurtured in such a way as they in turn develop a respect and tolerance for all.

The highly ambitious headteacher has established a quality leadership team that have put in place well formulated plans for development, leading to high standards in pupils' achievement. The aspirations of the senior leaders are resolutely supported by the whole staff, who feel they have a voice in shaping the school improvement with precise actions that are quickly and successfully put in to place.

This OFSTED 'Good' Primary School in Wigan is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 4 class with 29 children in the class. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the National Curriculum. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

The school is on the outskirts of Wigan and has a small onsite carpark and is easily accessible by public transport and has good motorway links for drivers.

The ideal candidate for this Teaching Assistant role will:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Have experience of working within Year 4
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
