Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for Teaching Assistants with SEN experience, to join us to work for our client SEN schools in around Hartcliffe in Bristol. These positions vary from part-time to full time, short-term to long-term basis, paying up to £70 a day.

We are recruiting on behalf of these SEN schools, which caters for students from 5 to 19. The schools cater for young people with additional needs principally in the areas associated with Severe Learning Difficulties. Many have autism and some very sensory requirements. All young people attending these schools have an official statements of SEN (Special Educational Needs) or EHCPs (Education and Health Care Plan). Most of our client schools are rated as 'Good' educational providers and delivering promising outcomes for students in the local area.

They tend to provide the small, specialist learning environments which meet pupils' not only education but also medical, social and care needs. The ideal candidates will support young people with lower-functioning Autism and physical disabilities with ease as well as provide personal care. You must be a Special needs LSA with previous experience of supporting young people in Secondary or Primary ages.

Most of them are based in South Bristol, with good public transport links and ample on site and on street parking available. They are within easy reach from areas such as Knowle, Whitchurch, Bedminster, Chew Magna.

To join us and be successful in these supply SEN TA roles, you will need to:
*Have SEN experience in a school, care setting and ideally have Level 2 Qualifications.
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
