Are you a Team Teach Trained Learning Support Worker in Chorley looking for a full-time position starting as soon as possible until December 2019 with the potential to go permanent?

Tradewind Preston are working in partnership with a 'Good' Secondary SEMH School in Chorley to recruit an experienced Level 3 Learning Support Worker to work on a 1-2-1 basis. You will be working with a KS4 supporting on a 1-2-1 basis with a child who has SEMH.

The most recent OFSTED graded the school as 'Good'. At the SEMH Secondary School they aim to ensure that they give them the necessary support to improve their confidence, self-esteem and enable them to become successful learners in school and prepared for their future working lives.

The ideal candidate for this role will have Team Teach Training and a minimum of 6 months experience working in an Alternative Provision environment or have worked extensively with learners with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs).

We are looking for:
*Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
*Teaching Assistant Level or Degree Qualified
*Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
*Experience with supporting SEMH
*Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
*Team Teach Trained

The school has a welcoming team of staff and a strong and well-structured SLT. The school is located just of the M61 which is accessible by car and via public transport.
