Full time Year 2 teacher - Worksop

Are you a passionate and inspiring Key Stage 1 teacher available full time from early October 2020?

Tradewind are recruiting for a full time Year 2 teacher to cover a maternity leave from October 2020 until summer 2021 at a school located on the Sheffield, Derbyshire border.

The successful candidate should have had experience teaching at KS1 and a great understanding of the curriculum in Year 2. The successful candidate will undertake the full teacher role including all planning, assessment, meetings and parents evenings.

Applications from accomplished and ambitious NQT's are welcome and full support can be provided through the NQT induction.

Previous experience of working with moderate learning difficulties would also be a benefit to this role. As would experience having led a subject in a previous role as there may be the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities.

The school is an average sized primary located in Worksop and is two form entry. The Senior Leadership team is particularly supportive and you will also benefit from joint planning and the school is well resourced.

There is also access to a private, secure car park to use throughout the day. The school can be easily reached from neighbouring townships such as Doncaster and Rotherham and is within walking distance of Worksop train station if you are on public transport.

To join us and be successful in this Year 2 teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
