Tradewind are recruiting! We have an Inner London Primary School looking for a Y5 Teacher to work in a Support Teacher role in the year group starting ASAP!

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a committed, positive Y5 Teacher to join this 2-form entry Primary school based in Hammersmith and Fulham for an ASAP start. This is a full-time role and the salary will be Inner London £29664 - £40372.

The role is for a teacher to work in Year 5. They won't take on the responsibility for a full class but will support across the year group and run interventions with students to ensure that all students make the progress required before transitioning into Year 6.

The school has a community feel and involves students in lots of different activities to help students engage. They're a Roman Catholic set up and would expect Teachers to work within the Ethos of the school though you don't have to be practising the religion. They have an inclusive environment where every student is taught to share and treat other students the way they would want to be treated. The Head teacher who recently returned from maternity leave, has already made excellent progress by holding students to high standards around behaviour and attendance.

We are looking for:
-This Primary School are looking for a Y5 Teacher who can deliver high quality lessons to upper KS2 (Year 6).
-A Y5 Teacher that has experience in KS2 and knows how to prepare students for SATs and progress to Secondary school.
-A person that is driven and has a high work ethic to ensure students get every chance to succeed.
-Someone that is reflective on their own practice and always looking to develop professionally.

This is a role for a Y5 Teacher. The school would like to have the successful candidate work in Year 5. There are potential options for further work in the school beyond July 2019 if the role goes well.

The school is on a bus route but mainly accessible by tube with the station being a 10 minute walk away.

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
