Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a great Primary school based in Brent. We are looking for someone to in January to cover a full time maternity leave. The salary for this role will be Inner London scale £29664 to £40372.

This is a multicultural primary school that has been judged as 'Good' in its recent Ofsted inspection. Ofsted reported that children at this school are happy, well cared for and enjoy learning. They were praised for their inclusive ethos and positive relationships throughout the school. This is a C of E school that nurtures Christian Faith and behaviour - they believe that education is a partnership between school and parents and encourage active relationship with parents to promote well-being.

We are looking for:
-A Year 1 Teacher who can commit for the full Maternity Cover, from January until the summer holidays
-Someone with recent experience of teaching the British Year 1 curriculum (Year 2 experience will be considered)
-A Teacher who is confident with the delivery of phonics
-Experience of teaching pupils who have EAL would be ideal along with good behaviour management
-Someone that goes above and beyond for the students in their care as well as the people they work alongside.

This is a role for a Year 1 teacher, someone that has an outstanding team ethic and a shared desire to help the pupils develop and progress.

The school is based in Brent, near Willesden Green, and is easily accessible by both overground and underground (Bakerloo line). There are regular buses that stop outside the school.

To join us and be successful in this Year 1 Teacher role you will need to:
-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Have recent Year 1 teaching experience
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
