Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a passionate, hard-working individual to teach Year 1 at this welcoming Primary school based near Stonebridge in Brent. We are looking for someone to start in January. This is a full-time role and the salary will be Inner London scale £29664 - £40372.

This 4--form entry Primary school has up to 30 children in each mixed ability class. The school aims for every child to feel special, successful and a valued part of the school community. Ofsted comment that "this is a school that knows its community well and puts children and their families at the heart of all it does".
We are looking for a teacher that:
-Will have high expectations of pupils and lessons that will engage the class
-Can help the school in its goal of becoming an Outstanding school
-Has high aspirations and expectations of students for both behaviour and achievement
-Is a committed, team player and is passionate about teaching Year 1 for the next term

This is a role to work as a Year 1 Teacher on a maternity contract at a school rated 'Good' by OFSTED. This is a happy school based in Brent with car parking on site and fantastic and modern grounds and facilities. The school is easily accessible from its nearest underground (Piccadilly line) and overground stations.

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
