Are you a inspiring, creative and engaging KS1 Teacher who is looking for a role within Goole?

Tradewind Recruitment are exclusively working in the Goole area who are searching for their next Year 1/KS1 Teacher to start with them in the new academic year. This role is temporary for the full academic year. This role is suitable for both NQT's and Fully Qualified Teacher and pay will be in line with recent experience and recent pay scales.

The school is a small village school with a community feel. The school have a strong ethos of 'family' and take the time to find the needs of each child personally to enable them to access a personalised and unique education.

We are looking for:
An Year 1 Specialist with the ability to teach Phonics, ideally using the Read Write Inc scheme, however training can be provided. Experience of the phonics screening would also be benefical
A committed practitioner, who will work within the school policies and their drive to raise pupil attainment
A Teacher who will work well within the school team, the school see their team more like a family
The school would like someone who would be interested in subject leadership in the future

The Role will be within Year 1 and you will be teaching a small class of between 23-26 pupils. The role would require full planning, marking and assessment. You will also be required to attend parents' evenings. If possible, the ability to run an extra-curricular activity of your choice for the children would be beneficial but this is not essential. You would have the support of a fantastic teaching assistant in mornings only.

The school is located in the Goole area, is accessible by public transport there is free parking on site for drivers. This is on a first come, first served basis. There are also good train links and bus links to the school for candidates travelling a bit further afield. With easy access from the M62 it is in an ideal location for many local villages.

After speaking with the school their ethos of family is very important. For the school building relationships is as important as achieving targets. The building is modernised inside with an old feel outside. The school does have excellent grounds and some local woodland too which would be ideal for a teacher who likes outdoor learning.

To join us and be successful in this Year 1 Teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
