Year 1 Class Teacher needed at a 2-form entry Primary School in Nottinghamshire.

A Primary school situated within the Nottinghamshire area is looking for an inspiring and passionate Year 1 teacher, to join a successful team, to start in September 2019. This is a full time, long term role, with the potential of a permanent contract.

This primary school has a thriving Nursery class and extended school provision, with a very popular before and after school club. This primary school is fortunate enough to have lovely outside grounds where the children have ample space to play and learn in. About the role
This OFSTED 'good' Nottingham primary school is looking for a Year 1 teacher who can deliver lessons across the National Curriculum and has excellent behaviour management and sound subject knowledge. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.


Ideally the Primary teacher will have experience of;
*Teaching a Year 1 class
*Teaching all core and foundation primary subjects.
*Creatively linking subjects together to plan thematically
*Planning for, directing and working with a teaching assistant

To be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
*Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or a BA Hons.
*Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
*Have at least 4 months school-based experience of working in a UK primary school setting.
*Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
*Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
