Tradewind are working in partnership with a wonderful Primary School in Brent as they seek to appoint a Year 2 Teacher for January 2021 as their teacher is relocating. The role is suitable for any experienced Primary Teacher and will have the option of taking on additional responsibilities as an English leader.

This wonderful primary school in Brent is a "Good" Ofsted Primary school with outstanding leadership and is well-respected in the local community.

The 2 form Primary School has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere where students are well behaved.

Student progress is high and good results in SATs examination in Year 2 and Year 6 are recognised.

Reading, Writing and Mathematics are a key focus and Teachers are supported by expert support staff to ensure that all student's needs are met.

The Year 2 Primary Teacher will join an experienced team that encourage sharing of good practice.

This role requires an experienced KS1 teacher teacher who can hit the ground running in January, mid way through the year, and to also lead English.

The school offers bespoke Personal Develop Programmes and support for all teachers and staff and encourages progression within the school.



About the Role -Year 2 Primary Teacher and English Leader - Brent, North London

The suitable teacher must have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1. Experience in Year 2 with SATs is a bonus.

The teacher does not have to have previous English leader experience but should have good knowledge of English and the ability to make an impact with the teaching of English across the whole school.

You should be able to demonstrate 'Good' and 'Outstanding' standards of teaching.

The ability to support, train and develop other teachers is essential.

You must also hold Qualified Teacher Status and have experience with the British curriculum.
