The School:

This is a great infant school located in Barnet, North London.

They were graded as "good" by Ofsted and are oversubscribed. The school has a traditional feel, but with excellent resources and a very creative atmosphere. With good public transport links, they also have staff parking.

The school is seeking a teacher with a minimum of 1 year's experience as they unfortunately do not have the staff capacity to mentor an NQT. Salary on offer is £145 - £160 per day, depending on experience.

The Class:

The class has a range of abilities and also some pupils with a variety of special educational needs. They have a full-time teaching assistant and also an SEN assistant who works with small groups in the mornings. Behaviour is good and they are a friendly class who are keen to learn.

The role is due to cover a maternity leaver, ideally due to start in June, but this may be delayed until September, depending upon when schools fully re-open. The school can possibly wait until September for the perfect candidate. The role is due to continue until the May half term, 2021, but may continue until July 2021. Experience of Year 2 SATS would be very welcome.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

- Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications) and experience in a UK primary classroom
- Have taught in key stage 1, ideally in Year 2.
- Have a creative approach to teaching to inspire the children in your care
