The School:

This is a 3 form entry infant school located in Barnet, North-West London.

They are graded as "good" by Ofsted and they are oversubscribed, which reflects their important position in the local community. The school has a traditional feel about it, but with excellent resources. Located close to a mainline station, they also have staff parking.



The school is seeking a teacher with a minimum of 1 year's experience as unfortunately, do not have the staff capacity to mentor an NQT. Salary on offer is £145 - £160 per day, depending on experience.


The Class:

The class has a range of abilities and also some pupils with various special educational needs. They have a full-time teaching assistant and also an SEN assistant who works with small groups in the mornings. Behaviour is good and they are a friendly class who are keen to learn.

The role is due to cover a maternity leaver, ideally due to start in June 2020, but this may be delayed until September, depending on when schools fully re-open. The role is due to continue until the May half term, 2021, but may continue until July 2021. This will be a great opportunity to make yourself available for any long-term roles for September 2021.



To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications) and experience in a UK primary classroom
Have taught in key stage 1, ideally in Year 2.
Have a creative approach to teaching to inspire the children in your care
