The School:
This is a great infant school located in Barnet, North London.
They were graded as "good" by Ofsted and are oversubscribed, which reflects their position in the local community. The school has a traditional feel about it, but with excellent resources. With good public transport links, they also have staff parking.
The school is three form entry, with a long-established leadership team, who continually strive to further improve already high standards and ensure that all pupils can access the curriculum.

The school is seeking a teacher with a minimum of 1 year's experience as they, unfortunately, do not have the staff capacity to mentor an NQT next year. Salary on offer is £145 - £160 per day, depending on experience. The role is to cover a maternity leaver and will continue until June 2021, but there may be an option to extend, including for the next academic year.

The Class:
The class has a range of abilities and also some pupils with various special educational needs. They have a full-time teaching assistant and also an SEN assistant who works with small groups in the mornings. Behaviour is good and they are a friendly class who are keen to learn.
The role is due to cover a maternity leaver, ideally due to start in June, but this may be delayed until September, depending upon when schools fully re-open. The role is due to continue until the May half term, 2021, but may continue until July 2021. Experience of Year 2 SATS would be very welcome.
