We're looking for a Year 2 specialist to join Primary school near Mill Hill in Barnet for 2 days a week.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join this 'Good' primary school in Barnet, to start after February half term. This is a part-time role on a Thursday and Friday up until at least July 2019 and the salary will be Outer London pay scale £27596 - £38963. The school will consider someone looking for an ASAP start as this would allow for a handover period.

This is a 3-form entry primary academy that is continually looking to self-improve through reflecting on their practice and keeping up to date with new initiatives by networking with other schools and agencies. Their focus is to ensure that all pupils receive the best education, and they prioritise personal development, behaviour and welfare. Pupils here behave well and have excellent attendance.

We are looking for:
-A Year 2 Teacher with recent experience of teaching the UK Year 2 curriculum who is happy to commit to this role until the summer
-Someone who can commit to a Thursday and a Friday and is happy to take on the responsibilities of a job share
-Someone engaging, who has the ability and desire to plan and deliver their lessons creatively
-Someone who is positive, energetic and dedicated to delivering outstanding teaching

This is Year 2 class teacher role at a 3-form entry Primary school near Mill Hill, Barnet. The Year 2 Teacher will be expected to have relevant experience in KS1, ideally in Year 2.
The school has a large car park for all staff. Public transport access is via a bus that stops right outside the school gates. The nearest tube station is a 5-minute walk to the school and is on the Northern Line.

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
