About the role
This OFSTED 'Good' South Manchester primary school is looking for a Year 2 teacher with the right attitude and experience to make a strong start in September. The school are looking for someone who can deliver lessons across the National Curriculum and has excellent behaviour management and sound subject knowledge. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

Your key responsibilities

*Teaching a Year 2 class of 30 including achieving high Key Stage 1 SATS results
*Teaching all core and foundation primary subjects.
*Ensuring that all children make the minimum expected progress throughout the year
*Creatively linking subjects together to plan thematically
*Planning for, directing and working with a teaching assistant

To be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
*Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or a BA Hons.
*Have at least 1 Years full time experience in either Year 1 or Year 2
*Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
*Have at least 4 months school-based experience of working in a UK primary school setting.
*Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
*Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
