A year 2 teaching assistant is required for a wonderful two form entry primary school in Crouch Hill, Haringey. The roles is full time, 5 days per week to start in April 2019.

The headteacher would like to appoint a teaching assistant to work within a year 2 class. The role will involve general classroom support as well as some small group support for children who have learning difficulties within the class.

The headteacher Is keen to ensure that all staff in the school possess a positive approach with children. This school has a good reputation in the LEA, and the headteacher offers lots of support for teaching assistants across the school.

The school is located in Crouch Hill, Haringey and is accessible by lots of regular bus routes.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:

*Either an experienced teaching assistant or a confident graduate /aspiring teacher
*Has an engaging, confident approach - you will enjoy working with children and will want to make a positive difference
*Experience in KS1 is preferred

The person

This role requires someone who is:

*Confident supporting KS1 - able to build positive relationships with students and teachers
*Able to manage small groups
*Excellent level of Maths, Grammar, English
*A team player
