Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two form entry Primary School in Ashton, Tameside to start September 2020 and will last until the end of the academic year.
This is a full-time role with a salary of £65 per day.
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting for a Year 3 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve endless possibilities. The school has a dedicated team that works hard to reach high standards in everything they do. The school dates back over 100 years and is based over two sites, Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 are based in one building and Key Stage 2 in another. The school is fortunate to have a large site including, separate playgrounds for Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2, a large field, garden area, music room and inclusion room.
The headteacher provides strong and effective leadership for this improving school. The senior leadership are supportive and all staff have clear set targets aimed at improving their practice. Teachers and Teaching Assistants are supported by a programme of professional development activities.
The school is based in Ashton, Tameside and is accessible via car or bus.
About the role
This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within one of their Year 3 classes. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.
The role itself will involve supporting the class teachers in Year 3, helping with the delivery of the National Curriculum. You will be required to work with children to help them learn, monitor their work and help raise their self-esteem. You may also be required to work with children in small groups or students on a 1:1 basis to deliver Maths and English intervention lessons. The school are looking for somebody who has the ability to be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the children have fun whilst making progress.
