About the school:
This school is an 'requiring improvement' school having had an Ofsted inspection in June 2017. However, the school have made significant strides forward since then, last year results were above LEA and national average. The school also scored well above average in progress scores across writing and maths. At the heart of these improvements has been a dedication to the very best teaching and learning. CPD is used to ensure teachers are equipped with the very best skills to make an impact. This is a school on the right path and a great time to join.

The schools vision is to maximise every child's potential and give every child the best possible start to their education. They passionately believe as educators, they have the power and responsibility to inspire children to be the best they can be to enable learners to dream big for the future!

About the role:
This is a challenging role and requires someone with the determination and commitment to succeed. Ofsted will be visiting the school in the foreseeable future and as such someone who will embrace the challenge of maintaining or bettering standards is desired. There are 32 children in the class. Unfortunately, due to a lack of continuity, many of the children haven't made the expected progress. However, they are a bright and well-behaved group of children. An energetic, passionate and nurturing teacher with a creative and engaging outlook on the curriculum would be well suited to ensure the children remain engaged and active throughout the year. It is paramount that the successful candidate is committed to the role, given the upheaval the children have already had this year.
There will be plenty of support from the SLT and you will have 1 TA in the class working with a variety of children on a 1-1 basis. This position is open to NQT's and experienced teachers alike.

As a Classroom Teacher, you will have the support of a cohesive and committed team of teachers and SLT who work collaboratively to maintain high standards and expectations, plus:
· a well-equipped school with interactive white boards and plenty of resources
· the successful Teacher will be provided with a comprehensive induction package and a wide range of CPD opportunities for all staff
