Are you a dynamic Primary teacher in the Wigan area?

Tradewind are currently recruiting an outstanding Primary teacher to work in a year 4 class at a very popular school in Wigan. The role is to start in September and is for a full year maternity cover.

This 1 form entry Primary School prides itself on the exceptional behaviour of the students. This Catholic Primary School is passionate about providing students with the skills and enthusiasm for Secondary School. They provide a safe, happy and well-disciplined learning environment and have a supportive SLT.

This "Good" Catholic Primary school caters for approx. 180 pupils across ages 3-11 and has a very nurturing environment.

This is a full-time position, starting in September 2019 and running until July 2020. You shall be responsible for a Year 4 class of up to 29 mixed ability pupils and have a supportive and experienced Teaching Assistant in class. You shall be required to plan, deliver and assess work in line with the National Curriculum and be happy to partake in Parents Evenings, sports days and school trips.

This Catholic school has close links to the bordering parish church. The governors and growing staff team are committed, hardworking and aim to ensure that every child within their care really does matter.

The school is located on the outskirts of Wigan and is easily accessible via car and has free parking on site. The School is also accessible via public transport and has close bus links.

QTS (or equivalent), knowledge of curriculum, legal right to work in the UK, NQT or experienced teacher welcome to apply. This school requires an outstanding teacher to join there very supportive team who is able to commit to the full maternity cover as they require consistency for the class.
