About the School - Year 5 Primary Teacher - Waltham Forest, East London
Located in Waltham Forest, East London close to the Victoria Line tube station lies this lovely, traditional 3 form entry Primary School. This school is traditional in that it believes learning should be fun and enjoyable. It encourages its teaching staff to plan and deliver creative lessons that inspire. The school has a child centred approach that attempts to nurture each individual student's talent rather than force all to make academic progress at all costs. This school still achieves excellent results at all key stages, especially from Year 6 SAT's but believes it is the students enjoyment of learning that leads to this. This school has low staff turnover as teachers enjoy being able to plan and develop their own lessons - this role has come about due to an overseas trained teacher returning home.
