The Position:

The "Outstanding" rated Bolton (BL3) Primary School is looking to recruit an experienced Year 5 Teacher. The position is to start in September 2019, but a transition week will be required by the school on the week starting 15th July. For the successful candidate the role will go onto a school permanent contract.

The school is 2-form entry and has recently been rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted. It is in Bolton (BL3).
*The school has an inspiring Senior Leadership Team with high aspirations and clear vision have been instrumental in bringing about improvements to teaching and pupils' achievement since the last inspection.
*Pupils' achievement is outstanding. From their individual starting points, all groups of pupils, including the most able, make at least good progress in reading, writing and mathematics.
*Children get off to a excellent start in the early years provision where they thrive and rapidly develop new skills and knowledge.
*Teaching is outstanding across the school which is supplemented by above and beyond support staff. They relate to, and care for, all pupils and their families exceptionally well.

This school has a strong culture of working together, so that the whole school community feels included and involved. This means that the teaching staff always strive to listen to the views of pupils and work closely with parents and governors. The school is very proud of their School Council and the hard work they do in representing the voice of all pupils in the school.

We are looking for an experienced Year 5 teacher with a passion for education and for their own professional development. The ideal candidate will be fit into the schools dynamic and forward-thinking teaching team and will:
*Have an excellent understanding of how children learn and wants the best for every child in their class.
*Regularly reflected on their practice.
*Can support, inspire and excite learning in children.
*Have good organisation skills.
*Be able to create a safe and engaging learning environment
*Have an excellent knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
*Has previous experience working in Year 5.
