Are you a talented and confident Year 6 teacher looking to teach at an Outstanding school in Waltham Forest in January 2019?

This four-form Primary School is offering a permanent contract from January 2019 for an additional teacher to work alongside the existing Year 6 teachers. This is a full-time permanent role and the salary will be Outer London scale £26662 - £42498. TLRs are available for the right candidates with relevant experience.

This thriving and inspirational Academy, in the borough of Waltham Forest, is a "Teaching" School - supporting schools within the borough and nationally. The current Headteacher has been with the school for over 7 years and started as an overseas trained class teacher. She understands the challenges of teaching an unfamiliar curriculum and the school therefore offers fantastic training and support for overseas trained teachers and newly qualified teachers.
There is also great scope for experienced teachers to further their teaching career within the academy. Staff turn-over is minimal and teachers rapidly progress within the Trust.

The school is looking for a teacher that can:
-Deliver a diverse, inclusive and challenging curriculum that is differentiated and meets the needs of all the children.
-Use targeted teaching to make sure all students make fast and constant progress across all the curriculum
-Have high aspirations and expectations on students in both behaviour and achievement
-Encourage each child to be positive and self-motivated, taking responsibility for their own actions
-Has recent Year 6 teaching experience

The school is based in the Borough of Waltham Forest, in walking distance of a train station and close to a large park. This is a particularly "green" part of the borough and a popular residential area for families.

In return the school offers:
A well-run and organised Primary School that has happy and eager to learn children - behaviour is excellent and the children take responsibility for their actions. This is a positive school where staff morale is high. If you're a Year 6 teacher and this sounds like the right school for you, then please get in touch.
