Are you an experienced Year 6 teaching looking to work with a friendly and supportive Key Stage 2 team from January 2020?

Do you want to teach a confident and bright Year 6 - supporting them through their SATS? Then Tradewind wants to hear from you!

This long-term teaching role has the potential to go perm in July 2010. Current pay rates are from £150 -£180 depending on experience.

This two-form entry school has benefitted from a new headteacher, who is very supportive and welcoming. This well-resourced school puts the children's education in the forefront of everything they do. Staff and children feel valued; parental input is excellent and senior leadership supportive.
Whilst there is a great emphasis on high academic standards at the school, the school also prioritises building the children's confidence and "sense of self". They provide a safe and caring environment where the children can flourish and have the opportunity to build positive relationships.

The school are looking for:

-An experienced Year 6 teacher with preferably recent KS2 teaching experience.
-A confident and flexible teacher who can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to Year 6s.
-Someone that is resilient and reflective on their own practice
-A teacher who is committed to raising standards in Year 6.

The school is based in the Borough of Barnet, a leafy middle class borough of London. There are great restaurants; pubs and quirky shops.
It is well- served by the Overground and in walking distance of the Northern line.


To join us and be successful in securing a long-term Year 6 teaching role at this Barnet school you will need to:

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
