Are you looking for a new challenge in 2019? Are you looking for an opportunity to teach a small Year 6 class from February or April until July 2019? We're looking for Upper KS2 specialist to join this Catholic Junior school in Barnet to cover a planned absence.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced and confident Year 6 Teacher to join this 'Good' primary school based in Barnet, to start in February, or April 2019. This is a full-time role up until July 2019, covering a teacher who has had a recent bereavement and needs some time off. The salary will be Outer London pay scale £27596 - £38963.

We are looking for:
-A Teacher with recent experience of teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for both Year 6 SAT's and their transition up to Secondary school
-Knowledge and confidence delivering the Year 6 curriculum
-Someone who is encouraging, inspiring and imaginative
-A teacher who can commit to all aspects of a full time Year 6 teaching role from February to July 2019
-Someone who is happy to teach in a Catholic school and teach RE (support will be available)

This is a Year 6 class teacher role at a small Junior school near Colindale in Barnet. The Year 6 Teacher will be expected to have relevant experience of teaching Year 6.

This school is a 10-minute walk from the Northern Line. There are regular local buses and off-street parking around the school site.

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
