INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITY IN ENGLAND FOR AUSTRALIAN BASED TEACHERS

Are you an experienced Year 6 teacher looking to take a small class of 17 children in an East London (Hackney) school in January 2020?

Are you happy to work in a faith school that has a diverse and multicultural team of educators, all committed to giving the children the best possible education? Then Tradewind wants to hear from you!

We are offering long -term pay rates of between £150 - £175 a day, depending on experience.

This one-form entry school has many benefits including small classes; shorter teaching hours; autonomy and very competitive pay rates!
Teachers plan in the morning and lessons are taught from 13.10Pm and finish at 16.20. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Primary teacher to work their magic and raise standards in this one- form entry school.

The school are looking for a Primary teacher who possesses the following qualities:
*Recent experience of teaching Key Stage 2 or Year 6 in a mainstream Primary school
*Sound knowledge and understanding of the Primary curriculum
*The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that will meet the needs of all the children irrespective of ability
*The ability to work independently as well as a team

This Primary School in the heart of Hackney - is one of London's most multicultural and charming boroughs. It has a strong and vibrant street life, a growing Art scene and is a magnet for youth culture in the capital, with a good dose of the city's best clubs and bars, and the coolest hangouts.

The school is well served by a number of Overground stations and has free on-street parking.
Job Requirements
*Hold QTS status or equivalent Primary teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Experience of Teaching Year 6
