Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced, results driven and hardworking Year 6 teacher for a 1.5-form entry school in Oldham. The role is due to commence in April. This is a full-time, permanent role with a main pay scale (M1-UPS3). The successful applicant will have an opportunity to earn a permanent contract.

*Hold QTS Status
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
About the school:
This school is currently 1.5-form entry and very well established in the local community. They currently hold a 'Good' rating from Ofsted (2014) and the Head is very well respected across the LEA. The school prides itself in offering a rich and engaging curriculum. They offer a well-rounded education, offering a wide range of opportunities which both enrich and enhance their experiences in school. Results in the past two years have been below expectations so they need a driven individual to join their KS2 team and gain incremental increases in KS2 results. They are open to someone with leadership experience and have the potential to offer a TLR or a position on the SLT. This is a friendly school and one where everyone is striving to make the necessary strides forward. Extensive plans have been put in place from September to ensure all staff have the necessary resources and support to be the best they can.
About the role:
We are looking for an innovative and inspirational teacher to commit to a Year 6 class for the last term of this year. The children are currently preparing for their SATs and are working hard to meet their expected goals. Someone who has knowledge of how the SATs work and the structure undertaken would be ideal so to help the children emotionally with this challenging time.
The successful Teacher will be provided with a comprehensive induction package and a wide range of CPD opportunities.
