About the school
We are recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher on behalf of a small primary school in Rochdale. The school has a 'good' rating from Ofsted when last inspected in 2016. Results last year were below the national and LEA average, however they believe that results this year will be much better. The school is friendly and inclusive, very much at the heart of the community. They aim to produce confident and happy individuals by fostering a secure and caring environment.

The school is based in Rochdale, with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.

After visiting this school, I was incredibly impressed by the work ethic of both the children and staff. The school has cultivated a bright and fun learning environment that aims to bring out the very best in everyone.

About the role:
This OFSTED 'good' primary school is looking for a Yr6 teacher who is creative, enthusiastic and potentially open to a permanent position. The current post holder has taken a SLT position at another school based on the work they have done here. As such, this will be an open role from September 2019 and the school are hoping that they can find the right person now to ensure a seamless transition for the next academic year. It is important that the relevant teacher has sound knowledge of the Yr6 curriculum and is comfortable and adept at teaching across the whole of key stage 2 as there is an element of team-teach with it being a small school.

Part of the role will be to forge closer working relationships with the parents to encourage learning at home. The school see this as a critical development to the success of their pupils. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will have the support of a cohesive and committed team of teachers who work collaboratively to maintain high standards and expectations, plus:
· a well-equipped school with interactive white boards and plenty of resources
· the successful Teacher will be provided with a comprehensive induction package and a wide range of CPD opportunities for all staff.

By registering with Tradewind Manchester, you will benefit from:

*An honest and friendly team with a wealth of educational experience
*Consultants that will listen to what you want and support you wherever necessary
