Tradewind Recruitment is working with an outstanding primary school based in Hounslow that are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join their year 6 team from Easter 2019.

The SENCo of this high achieving school in the beautiful location of Brentford, Hounslow are keen to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to work within a year 6 class. The role requires you to have confident, clear commutation skills as well as a dynamic, professional approach. The school are looking for someone who will support the year 6 teacher as well as support pupils with Standard Assessments Tests (SATS). The role will also involve running small group interventions across Maths and English.

The role will involve

*General classroom support in Year 6
*Work alongside the KS2 team to plan and prepare engaging, fun sessions for small groups of learners that need additional support
*Sound knowledge in Maths and English

The teaching assistant roles are full time, 5 days week and will be due to start in April 2019 to continue for the full academic year (July 2019)

To be considered for the Year 6 Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

you must;

*Have previous experience working in a primary school setting.
*Be a team player - this role requires someone who works well with teachers, pupils and parents
*Demonstrate commitment, dedication and resilience in your previous childcare work
*have an ability to manage sometimes challenging behaviour
*Ideally you will be local to Hounslow
