Year 6 Teaching Assistant needed at a Primary School in Tameside

Year 6 specialist Teaching assistant to Start September 2020 to cover Maternity leave until July 2021.

Tradewind Recruitment are helping a Tameside primary school (M34) recruit a Year 6 Teaching Assistant with a specialist in KS2.
The position will commence from September 2020 until July 2021 with the potential for a contract for the right candidate.

This schools Is a "Good" 2 form entry Primary School within Tameside and is easily accessible from surrounding areas. Ideally the successful applicant will be available until the end of the academic year and will need an excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

The staff personalise learning for all the young people, within an inclusive, engaging learning environment. The friendly staff are clearly committed to providing a secure and happy place in which to learn, one in which all children can thrive socially, emotionally and academically to achieve their full potential.

You will require exceptional behaviour management skills and experience with ability to support a mixed ability pupils in KS2. There are children who have SEN that the teacher will need to differentiate towards.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
