Learning Support Assistant

Attention all experienced Learning Support Assistants! An outstanding secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham is seeking a committed LSA to join their team starting in September 2024. With a competitive pay rate ranging from £85 to £95 per day, this position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to positively impact students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students in their learning, both one-on-one and in small groups.
• Assist in addressing students' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Help in the preparation of educational materials and resources.
• Support students during individual and group activities within the classroom.
• Motivate and encourage students to participate actively in their learning journey.
• Collaborate with teachers to identify and address individual student needs.
• Monitor and report student progress to teachers and parents as necessary.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to further enhance your skills.
• A strong commitment to inclusion and the ability to support students with diverse special educational needs are crucial for this role.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant.
• A positive and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
