SEN Teaching Assistant Role in Southwark

Role Details:
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Southwark, London
- Start Date: September 2024
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, term-time only
- Duration: Until the end of the academic year in July 2025
- Daily Rate: £90 - £120 (with potential for additional hours in breakfast and after school clubs)

About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to support students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require to thrive in a mainstream classroom setting. Your responsibilities will include one-on-one support, small group interventions, and helping to create an inclusive learning environment for all students.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
