Part-Time School Administrator in Featherstone (Near Wakefield and Pontefract)
Accelerate Teaching are seeking a skilled School Administrator for a welcoming primary school in Featherstone, just outside of Wakefield and Pontefract, to join their team part-time starting this academic year, September 2024. The position is for three days per week, with flexibility on which days you work.
As a School Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's administrative functions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling various administrative tasks.
- Managing student records.
- Providing support to both staff and parents.
- Use of technology and computers to complete tasks.
- Answering phone calls and making phone calls.
The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and prior experience working in a school administrative environment. Proficiency with school management systems, particularly Integris and Agresso/Unit 4, is highly desirable. You must be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced school setting.
