Start Date: November 2024 (after the half-term break)
Salary: £218 - £257 per day (paid to scale on M3-M6 Inner London weighting)
Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the early stages of a child's education? We are seeking a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive primary school in Southwark, South East London. This position is to cover a maternity leave starting after the half-term break in November 2024.

About the Role:

• Teach a Year 1 class, showcasing a love for learning and supporting the development of key skills.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum in line with the National Curriculum.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience teaching in Year 1 or Key Stage 1 is ideal, though all teaching experience will be considered.
• A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible learning experience for your students.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
