Temporary Science/Biology Teacher Needed in Islington - Starting 3rd September
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teacher with a specialisation in Biology for a temporary role starting 3rd September and initially lasting for 7 weeks. This position is at a distinguished North Islington R.C. Comprehensive school located in Highgate. The school is a Roman Catholic institution for boys aged 11-19, known for its rich Catholic tradition and as one of the oldest foundations in the Archdiocese of Westminster.
Role Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and effective Science Teacher who excels in Biology. The successful candidate will:

- Communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, and parents.

- Provide pastoral support to students.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the development of strategies to ensure student progress in line with school targets.
- Assisting with SEN and intervention strategies, monitoring, and assessment.
- Delivering engaging Business Studies and careers guidance, including work experience programs.
- Maintaining and updating schemes of work as directed.
- Planning and delivering lessons that motivate and inspire students.
